Elizabeth Gillies
Gillies Her acting career began at the age of 12, as she began going to local open casting calls. Her career in acting began when she was 12 years of age. The first time she appeared on screen was for Virgin Mobile commercials. Gillies' first television role was as a regular character on three seasons of The Black Donnellys. Gillies' statement states that she was not permitted to see the series in all its entirety as her parents believed it was not appropriate for her at that time. The year 2008 was a busy one for her she was cast in minor roles in The Clique, Harold, and Locker 514. The actress was cast in August of 2008 as Lucy as well as Ariana Grande, who was her co-star in Victorious and Jason Robert Brown's musical 13. After that, 13 made the move to Broadway, which made it one of the very first Broadway production with the entire cast and orchestra comprised of teens. Her biggest two numbers, "Opportunity", and "It can't be true" and "It can't be true" were followed by smaller roles on songs like "Hey Kendra", "Getting Ready" as well as the song that was to be her title. Gillies joined the cast all the way through January 4, 2009.
